Apollo is led by our managing partners, Leon Black, Joshua Harris and Marc Rowan, who have worked together for more than 20 years and lead a team of 644 employees, including 252 investment professionals (as of March 31, 2013), in New York, Los Angeles, Houston, London, Frankfurt, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Singapore and Mumbai. Apollo’s team possesses a broad range of transaction, financial, managerial and investment skills.

We operate our businesses in an integrated manner, which we believe distinguishes Apollo from other alternative asset managers. Our investment professionals frequently collaborate and share information across disciplines including market insight, management, banking and consultant contacts as well as potential investment opportunities. This collaboration contributes to our library of industry knowledge and we believe enables us to invest successfully across a company's capital structure.
